Join us for a southern Crawfish Boil with the LSU Chicago Alumni at Dad’s Place on May 9th, 2026 – All are welcome! Ticket includes all you can eat crawfish, corn, red potatoes, and Andouille sausage. And, now serving garlic cloves and mushrooms!

There will be a live band, giveaways and a silent auction to raise money for the LSU Chicago Alumni Scholarship Fund. Also, $5 from each ticket purchase goes to the chapter scholarship fund.

Event starts at 2pm and goes until we run out so come early. Let’s Geaux!

Join fellow alumni, friends, and guests for Jazz & Heritage Festival Multi-School Mixer at the iconic House of Blues Chicago—an evening designed for great music, bold flavors, and even better connections.

From 5:30–10:00 p.m., enjoy live classic rock performances by two local Chicago Classic Rock Bands, filling the venue with high-energy sounds in a uniquely soulful setting. While the music plays, indulge in Cajun-inspired food featuring favorites like gumbo, jambalaya, voodoo shrimp, pulled pork sliders, and fresh cornbread—bringing the spirit of New Orleans straight to the Chicago Riverwalk. Vegetarian, Gluten and Dairy Free options will be provided, please review the attached menu and indicate in your regristration what you would like.

Your ticket also includes two drink tickets for beer or wine, access to the exclusive House of Blues private space, and a vibrant atmosphere perfect for mixing, mingling, and making memories. With Mardi Gras flair, live music, and the legendary House of Blues vibe, this is more than a mixer—it’s a celebration.

Admitted Student Receptions celebrate students’ acceptance to LSU in their geographic areas. Here, students are able to meet other future Tigers from their hometown and mingle with alumni, which allows students to feel like part of the LSU family. Alumni will mingle with prospective students and their guests until the formal presentation begins. Select alumni will be chosen to speak on a panel during the presentation.

Celebrate Mardi Gras in your home away from home with the Krewe of Chicageaux. The LSU and Tulane Alumni Clubs of Chicago are thrilled to host our third annual celebration at the Standard Bar and Grill.

Ticket price includes buffet featuring NOLA themed food, welcome drink, DJ throwing down MG classics and dance beats, and of course throws and giveaways. Upgrade to the drink package for 3 hours of well open bar. Cash bar open to all.

• General admission tickets are available for $35. Open bar package upgrade for $50.
• Please note that event check in will be from 6-8 PM. The buffet and seating is first come first served.

Festive or Cocktail Attire. Open to alumni and friends.

The chapter is looking for alumni to join our newest class of Tigers before they leave for Baton Rouge.  Come share your stories from campus and any other advice for our incoming Chicagoland freshman.  Help us send them off in style and give them a great taste of Tiger hospitality!

Join us for a Louisiana spring time tradition of boiled, all you can eat crawfish with red potatoes, corn, and andouille sausage at George St Pub in Lakeview.
